Position Purpose:
We are seeking a Youth Life Skills Coach to deliver life skills training and coaching to youth, helping them to develop essential skills for personal and professional success. The role involves mentoring, conducting workshops, and creating a supportive learning environment for young individuals.
Role Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, or teaching youth.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for youth development and empowering young individuals.
Ability to create engaging and interactive training materials.
Familiarity with the Muslim community and an understanding of Islamic values is a plus.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
Coaching and Mentoring: Provide one-on-one and group coaching sessions to youth, focusing on developing their life skills and personal growth.
Workshop Facilitation: Design and conduct workshops on various life skills topics such as communication, time management, financial literacy, and conflict resolution.
Program Development: Collaborate with the program development team to create and enhance life skills training materials and curriculum.
Assessment: Assess the needs and progress of youth participants, providing feedback and adjusting coaching strategies as needed.
Community Engagement: Build relationships with community organizations and stakeholders to promote ILIA's programs and engage more youth participants.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of coaching sessions, participant progress, and program outcomes.
