Video Production Specialist

We are seeking a full-time Video Production Specialist to join our Houston-based studio team. This role requires proven video recording and editing skills with the ability to produce polished, professional content across both long-form formats (lectures, podcasts, courses) and short-form content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).

You’ll be responsible for capturing, editing, and delivering content that elevates our brand presence. This role is both technical and creative, perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on studio environment and wants to continue learning and growing.

Key Responsibilities

• Recording & Production
  • Assist Production Manager with set up and operate cameras, audio, and lighting equipment for studio and podcast shoots.
  • Record high-quality video and audio content for various formats.
  • Ensure technical standards (sound, lighting, framing) are consistently met.
• Editing & Content Creation
  • Edit long-form video projects into polished, ready-to-publish deliverables.
  • Create short-form social media content optimized for each platform.
  • Add graphics, transitions, sound design, and color correction to enhance production value.
• Workflow & File Management
  • Organize, transfer, and manage media files within studio workflows.
  • Maintain an efficient pipeline between capture, editing, and publishing.
  • Keep production equipment organized and in good working order.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in video recording and editing (portfolio required).
• Proficiency with editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).
• Ability to produce both long-form and short-form content.
• Strong technical understanding of cameras, lighting, and audio setups.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work onsite full-time at our Houston studio.
