Therapist (Online Muslim Mental Health Platform)

Ruh Care is a Muslim-owned online therapy platform providing Islamically aligned, culturally responsive mental health care to Muslims across Canada, the United States, and beyond. The platform is seeking licensed Muslim mental health professionals to join its virtual therapy team.

**Role Overview:**

This is a remote, flexible independent contractor position where licensed therapists set their own schedule, session rates, and income. The platform handles client referrals, matching, scheduling, intake, billing, collections, insurance claims, and administrative support. Therapists provide individual, couples, family, and child therapy (ages 3+) in 16+ languages.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Provide clinical therapy to individuals, couples, families, and children
• Conduct therapy sessions via secure, PHIPA-compliant video conferencing
• Maintain clinical notes using the platform's electronic health record (EHR) system
• Participate in monthly peer group supervision and clinical consultations with the Clinical Director
• Consult with Islamic scholars to integrate Islamic perspectives into clinical work
• Engage in professional development through monthly seminars featuring clinical and Islamic subject-matter experts

**Requirements & Qualifications:**

• Master's degree or above in Counselling Psychology, Social Work, or related discipline from a recognized institution
• Valid license in good standing with the respective regulatory body as a regulated mental health professional authorized to provide clinical therapy in your province or state
• Individual professional malpractice liability insurance
• Located in Canada or the United States, working from home
