**The Inclusive Mosque Initiative: Programmes Manager**
The Inclusive Mosque Initiative (IMI) is a UK-based Muslim organisation dedicated to creating inclusive and welcoming mosque spaces for all community members, with particular focus on underrepresented groups within the Muslim community.
**About the Role**
As Programmes Manager, you will lead the end-to-end development and delivery of programmes across the organisation. This is a strategic position responsible for ensuring all projects are planned, adequately resourced, and executed to high standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and implement programme activities in alignment with organisational strategic goals
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on programme impact using established MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) frameworks
- Engage and coordinate with diverse stakeholders: community partners, funders, and governance bodies
- Recruit, coordinate, and support volunteers contributing to programme delivery
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration and coordination to ensure smooth project execution
- Support fundraising activities and maintain financial accountability for programme budgets
- Manage external communications related to programmes and outcomes
**Essential Requirements**
- Demonstrated experience in programme management
- Proven ability to work effectively with diverse communities with strong cultural sensitivity
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Proficiency with monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessment methodologies
**Desirable Experience**
- Background in community development
- Familiarity with mosque or faith-based organisational settings
- Experience managing and coordinating volunteers
