Job Description:-
Assist in the preparation and production of a wide variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, and baked goods following standard recipes.
Support Chef de Partie / Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
Ensure consistency in product quality, taste, and presentation.
Prepare ingredients and components efficiently according to production needs.
Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors on replenishment needs.
Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of kitchen equipment and tools.
Follow strict hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
Guide and support Commis Chefs when required.
Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
Positive attitude with strong sense of responsibility.
Passionate and committed to French pastry.
Able to communicate in BM & English.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in pastry or related role.
Basic leadership and team support skills.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Possess own transport to commute to Petaling Jaya.
