Ehsan Islamic School, an Islamic faith-based educational institution in Iowa City, Iowa, is seeking an Office Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Serve as the primary point of contact at the school's front desk for students, parents, and visitors
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently
- Manage and route incoming emails
- Maintain, organize, and file school records and documentation
- Support the coordination of school events and day-to-day office operations
- Multitask effectively across front-desk and back-office duties
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma (minimum)
- Prior administrative or office experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Comfort with standard office equipment (printers, copiers, filing systems)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
