IMAN (Inner-City Muslim Action Network) is a Muslim-led community health organization operating a primary care clinic on Chicago's south side, serving predominantly low-income, uninsured, and immigrant patients in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood. We seek a full-time Nurse Practitioner with Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) certification to join our team.
In this role, you will manage an independent patient caseload with full autonomy in clinical decision-making. Your focus will be on wellness promotion, disease prevention, patient education, and culturally responsive care tailored to our diverse community. You'll conduct comprehensive patient assessments and health histories, order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop individualized treatment plans, and prescribe medications. Procedural responsibilities include IUD placement and Nexplanon insertion. You'll provide health education to patients and families, maintain thorough EMR documentation, and contribute to a patient-centered care model.
$100,000–$120,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits including $1,500 annual professional development stipend, medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) plan, paid parental leave, and continuing medical education (CME) support.
