Middle/High School Social Studies Teacher

Arizona Cultural Academy & College Prep, an Islamic K–12 school in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a full-time Social Studies teacher for middle and high school students. This role began July 1, 2026, and applications are accepted through October 30, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons across multiple grade levels
• Prepare course materials, teach lessons, and assess student learning
• Develop individualized education plans to support student growth
• Create comprehensive lesson plans and manage classroom behavior effectively
• Maintain accurate student records and monitor academic progress
• Communicate regularly with families and colleagues regarding student performance and development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (history, sociology, political science, or similar)
• Minimum two years of K–12 teaching experience
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Understanding of pedagogy and child development
• State teaching certification preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary: $44,000–$50,000 based on qualifications
