Medical Director

Inner-City Muslim Action Network (IMAN) is seeking a Medical Director to lead clinical operations at its Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Chicago. This senior, full-time role reports directly to the Executive Director and combines direct patient care with significant leadership and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, family-oriented primary care to patients across all life stages and genders
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight of all licensed independent providers (nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dentists, behavioural health professionals) and contractors
• Collaborate with the Director of Health Center Operations to achieve clinical, financial, and operational objectives
• Lead implementation and execution of the health center's programme strategies across clinical, operational, and financial areas
• Oversee quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure delivery of comprehensive, accessible, and culturally competent care to IMAN's diverse inner-city patient population

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completed residency in family medicine or related primary care field
• Current board certification or eligibility
• Valid and active medical licence to practise in Illinois

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership experience in community health or FQHC settings

Compensation & Details

$200,000–$230,000 per year. Full-time position located at 2744 W 63rd St, Chicago, IL 60629.
