Home Health Aide / Caregiver

Amova Care is seeking a compassionate and culturally aware home health aide to provide in-home support to an elderly Muslim client living with dementia in Naperville, Illinois. This part-time position emphasizes person-centered care that respects the client's dignity, faith, and Islamic values.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADL) including personal hygiene with sensitivity to modesty and privacy requirements
• Provide light housekeeping and laundry services
• Prepare and serve halal-compliant meals
• Administer medication reminders and support
• Apply dementia-specific care techniques, including redirection and behavioral support
• Provide emotional support and companionship
• Observe and report any changes in the client's condition to supervisors

Required Qualifications

• Reliable transportation
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
• Willingness to pass background check and complete agency training

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with dementia care
• Understanding of Muslim cultural and religious practices
