High School Teacher (Science & Social Studies)

Iman Academy Southeast, a Cognia-accredited Islamic school located in Webster, Texas, is hiring for two full-time high school teaching positions: a High School Science Teacher and a High School Social Studies Teacher.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality instruction aligned with relevant academic standards
• Develop engaging, effective lesson plans tailored to high school student learning needs
• Assess student understanding and progress using a variety of methods
• Provide individualized learning support to students requiring additional help
• Maintain a well-managed, orderly classroom
• Collaborate constructively with fellow teachers and school staff
• Communicate proactively with parents and guardians regarding student performance
• Foster a nurturing, respectful learning environment consistent with the school's Islamic mission

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related subject field
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Texas state teaching certification
• 2–3 years of prior classroom teaching experience at the secondary level
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Collaborative team orientation
• Familiarity with Islamic culture and values
