Job Description
SeekersGuidance, a global Islamic education nonprofit, seeks a Fundraising Manager to lead donor acquisition and relationship management efforts. This fully remote position is available as full-time or contract-based, requiring a minimum of 7 years of fundraising or related experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and secure donations from individuals, families, and philanthropic contacts across multiple giving levels, from mid-level gifts to major donations
- Conduct direct fundraising conversations to close gifts and advance commitments
- Activate existing professional and personal networks to acquire new donors
- Maintain and cultivate long-term relationships with current donors
- Articulate SeekersGuidance's mission clearly and compellingly in donor meetings
- Contribute to the organization's broader fundraising strategy and planning
- Meet monthly and quarterly fundraising targets and performance metrics
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of proven experience in fundraising, sales, or relationship-based revenue generation
- Demonstrated ability to close gifts or sales at multiple price points
- Well-established network with access to potential donors, particularly within Muslim philanthropic circles
- Strong understanding of and genuine belief in Islamic education
- Comfort approaching high-net-worth and philanthropically motivated individuals
- Arabic language skills preferred but not required
