The ISCH - Financial Assistance Office has an immediate opening for the financial assistance manager. The position aims to manage the financial assistance (Zakat) office and all its daily activities.

Associate Degree or Bachelors in Business Administration or Social Work.
Five (5) years of combined experience in social work as a caseworker or casework management.
Five (5) years of experience with Client Relationship Management Software (CRM).
Five (5) years of experience in Office Personnel Management.
Two (2) years of experience as a caseworker supervisor/manager.
Two (2) years of experience in budget management.
Bilingual in English/Urdu and or Arabic/French. Essential Responsibilities
Policy:
Responsible for Zakat and Sadaqa Policy implementation and compliance.
Responsible for Shura-approved policy resolutions implementation prior to policy being formally updated.
Software:
Ownership of client software and software updates.
Responsible for training caseworkers on client software
Responsible for client records file integrity.
Grants: Responsible for Federal Grant compliance, federal audit data, and federal CRM software.
Training & Development: Facilitate onboarding and training sessions for new caseworkers and process updates.
Intake Management: Assign new and existing cases to caseworkers based on language, priority, and workload across online and in-person channels.
Case Oversight: Maintain detailed records for special needs and escalated cases requiring higher-level approvals or board review.
Documentation Oversight: Create, update, and standardize application forms and verification documents to ensure compliance with eligibility and funding requirements. Send denial letters when required and end-of-assistance letters accordingly.
Case Management: Ensure the client is coached to live within their means (lifestyle, rent, and expenses)
Analytical Case Support: Combine data analysis with case management to determine eligibility and optimize resource allocation in collaboration with caseworkers.
Interagency Coordination: Serve as liaison between ISGH departments, external nonprofit partners specializing in out-of-scope assistance areas, and apartment complex landlords.
Trend Monitoring: Track and analyze intake trends (online/in-person), top assistance categories, and client demographics to inform resource planning.
Data Quality Assurance: Conduct monthly data audits to ensure accurate use of categories and codes in ISCHCRATE for reporting and compliance.
Budget & Disbursement Management: Monitored financial disbursements and adjusted allocations to align with monthly budgets; communicated projected assistance spikes to leadership. Manage a $4M plus distribution budget.
Financial Reconciliation: Cross-verify outstanding payment data between Zakat bank accounts, ISGHCRATE, and QuickBooks (QBO) to ensure voided and canceled payments were accurately recorded-perform in partnership with ISGH Accounts Payable.
Fraud Management: Work with ISGH Comptroller on agreed fraud management practices.
Decisions: Make decisions concerning evictions, utility cut-offs, medical conditions, caregiver conditions, the elderly, client effort towards improvement, single moms, etc.
Monthly Impact Statement: Provide data management reporting for recipient categories, distribution categories, zone categories, office visits, etc. Skills
