Family Practice Physician

The Muslim Community & Health Center of Wisconsin (MCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike dedicated to strengthening Milwaukee's communities through free and charitable healthcare, social services, counseling, and educational programs. MCHC provides culturally competent primary, dental, behavioral health, and specialty care with specialized focus on serving Muslim, immigrant, and refugee populations.

Position Overview

MCHC is recruiting a full-time Family Practice Physician for outpatient care. The role operates on a 4-day, 32-hour weekly schedule, providing a manageable, structured workload environment within a mission-driven community health setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary care across all age groups and demographics
• Provide preventive care and chronic disease management
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and medical conditions
• Offer women's health services, including contraceptive counseling
• Support population health initiatives and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of accredited Family Medicine residency
• Board certification or board eligibility from the American Board of Family Medicine
• Active and unrestricted Wisconsin medical license
• Current DEA certification
• Current BLS certification
