Elementary Arabic Instructional Support

Brighter Horizons Academy (BHA), an Islamic college-preparatory school in Garland, Texas, is seeking a full-time Elementary Arabic Instructional Support specialist for the 2026–2027 academic year.

**Role Overview**

The Arabic Instructional Support specialist will primarily support Arabic language instruction in the elementary division, with cross-divisional responsibilities as needed. This position works directly with lead teachers and students to deliver high-quality language education and targeted student support.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Assist lead Arabic teachers with lesson preparation, material development, and classroom instruction
• Provide small-group Arabic language reinforcement instruction to students requiring additional support
• Supervise students during instructional periods and transitions
• Implement culturally responsive, Islamic-values-aligned instruction
• Organize and lead Arabic language enrichment activities and cultural events
• Maintain detailed records of student language acquisition progress
• Collaborate with the Arabic department on curriculum alignment and instructional strategies

**Required Qualifications**

• Fluency in Modern Standard Arabic and strong English communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering Arabic language acquisition and Islamic identity among students
• Patient, adaptable, collaborative approach to education

**Preferred Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Arabic Education, Linguistics, or related field
• Prior classroom instruction or language support experience

**Compensation & Benefits**
