Elementary and Middle School Teachers (Multiple Positions)

Islamic Academy for Peace, a Muslim-faith-centered school located in Methuen, Massachusetts, is recruiting multiple full-time teachers for the 2026–2027 academic year beginning August 24, 2026.

**Open Positions**

Positions are available across Elementary (grades 1–5) and Middle School (grades 6–8) levels in the following subject areas: English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons that meet the developmental needs of your grade band
• Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters student participation and intellectual curiosity
• Monitor student progress through ongoing assessment and provide constructive, timely feedback to students and families
• Work collaboratively with colleagues on curriculum development and student support initiatives
• Engage actively in school-wide professional development, events, and community-building activities

**Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Demonstrated prior teaching experience at the elementary or middle school level
• Strong classroom management and instructional delivery skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Teaching certification is preferred but not mandatory for all roles
