Development Coordinator (Remote — Massachusetts Region)

Islamic Relief USA, the United States' leading Muslim humanitarian organization, is seeking a Development Coordinator to serve the Massachusetts region as part of its nationwide Fund Development team.

This full-time remote position is externally focused and combines donor prospecting, relationship management, and face-to-face fundraising in a sales-like model. Key responsibilities include:

• Cultivating and directly soliciting donations from individuals, groups, and organizations
• Identifying and approaching companies for matching gift programs and developing business relationships for event sponsorships
• Planning, organizing, and facilitating fundraising activities including gala dinners, mosque appeals, and emergency campaigns
• Recruiting and coordinating local volunteers
• Delivering presentations to diverse audiences including mosques, community organizations, and businesses to build awareness and drive contributions
• Preparing reports and projections on fundraising activity for management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• US work authorization
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills
• Ability to work effectively with grassroots organizations and volunteers
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities
• Comfort working both independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Own transportation (required for 75%+ domestic travel within and beyond Massachusetts)
• Existing network within Massachusetts's Muslim community (ideal)
