With over 65 years of experience in halal meat retail and wholesale, Tariq Halal is a well-established brand planning significant expansion to 100 stores and 1,000+ new jobs.
**Counter Assistant**
Work directly on the halal meat counter in a retail store environment. Responsibilities include serving customers professionally, assisting with meat selection and packaging, maintaining counter cleanliness and food hygiene standards, and supporting the wider store team during busy periods.
**Butcher**
Prepare and present halal-certified meat cuts for retail sale. Key duties include cutting and trimming meat to retail standards, advising customers and fulfilling custom orders, maintaining professional product presentation, and ensuring compliance with halal certification and food safety standards.
**Requirements**
Experience in butchery or halal meat retail is advantageous but not essential. All candidates must demonstrate professionalism, strong customer service skills, and commitment to food hygiene standards.
