Job Description
Khatib & Alami, a leading Muslim-founded multidisciplinary engineering consultancy established over 60 years ago with 6,500+ professionals across 30+ global offices, is seeking a Computer Engineer to join its digital engineering and IT operations team in Qatar.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise technology systems and platforms across the organization
- Manage systems architecture, integration, and connectivity across enterprise platforms
- Provide application support, troubleshooting, and technical problem resolution
- Drive automation and digital engineering initiatives
- Oversee cloud technology deployments and management (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Support BIM (Building Information Modeling) and CDE (Common Data Environment) systems
- Administer GIS platforms and Power Platform tools
- Handle API integrations and web service connectivity
- Administer Microsoft 365 and enterprise applications
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and system records
**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
- MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment, Qatar) Registered Engineer Grade A certification as Computer Engineer
- Strong expertise in systems architecture and networking
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Database management and design knowledge
- Cybersecurity fundamentals
- Virtualization technologies expertise
- Scripting language familiarity
- Experience with BIM/CDE systems and GIS tools
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Professional certifications (ITIL, Microsoft, Azure, AWS, Cisco, VMware)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams
- Capacity to rapidly learn and adopt new technologies
