CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) Foundation, America's largest Muslim civil liberties and advocacy organization, is seeking an Associate Strategic Campaign Director to lead high-impact national campaigns that mobilize communities, shift public narratives, and drive measurable institutional change.
This fully remote position offers $95,000 annually with approximately one trip per month for national coordination. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and currently reside in one of these states: Alabama, DC, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Wisconsin. Work hours are aligned to Eastern Time (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).
**Role Overview:**
Translate research insights into actionable, public-facing campaign initiatives within CAIR's Research and Advocacy Department. Design and execute advocacy campaigns aligned with organizational strategic priorities.
**Core Responsibilities:**
- Design and execute advocacy campaigns addressing CAIR's strategic priorities
- Coordinate campaign strategy, messaging, timing, and activation plans with internal Programs staff and external coalition partners
- Oversee project execution and manage all content production including press releases, toolkits, and social media assets
- Coordinate rapid-response campaigns during high-risk narrative moments
- Track and report on campaign impact using clearly defined success metrics
- Integrate research findings into campaign planning and ongoing strategic decisions
- Provide continuous strategic feedback to the Research and Advocacy Department
- Improve campaign toolkits, templates, and best practices to support CAIR chapters and allied organizations in replicating successful campaigns nationally
**Required Qualifications:**
- 3+ years of experience designing and leading strategic advocacy, public education, or policy campaigns
- Strong understanding of Islamophobia, anti-Muslim bigotry, and racial justice issues in the United States
- Demonstrated success in launching and evaluating campaigns with measurable public or institutional impact
- Excellent communication skills in message development and content creation
- Experience managing timelines and cross-team deliverables
- Ability to collaborate with third-party vendors and external organizations
