The Executive Director, Educational Partnerships (EDEP) is responsible for achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets in their assigned territory. The successful EDEP has existing relationships with District/ State decision makers in the assigned territory and will constantly work to create new supportive partnerships. The EDEP will focus on selling Wireless Generation’s suite of products including mClass, our reading intervention product, Burst™:Reading and other related products to assigned school districts and works collaboratively with other Wireless Generation senior sales staff to achieve sales goals. He/she will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the elementary reading intervention market, elementary literacy products, and selling skills.
Responsibilities of Executive Director, Educational Partnerships:
Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets by expanding existing business and developing new business.
Deliver professional sales presentations to individual school leaders with the ability to persuade and close business.
Build and nurture relationships with Superintendents, District Heads, etc.
Provide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline, account plans and territory management activities as required.
Develop and maintain a full business pipeline of prospective clients and assume all territory management in an assigned geographic region.
Requirements of Executive Director, Educational Partnerships:
BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of successful direct sales experience in elementary literacy and elementary math intervention solutions to the K12 market with experience selling to districts or state heads.
Experience selling to elementary level schools in the assigned region is preferred.
Experience in public speaking with strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide.
