ITC Job Summary
Design, program and maintain database applications supporting Transmission Management Systems (TMS), Operations and Engineering.
ITC Job Responsibilities
� Gather user software requirements and develop design specifications with some supervision and review.
� Design, develop and maintain Microsoft Access, SQL databases and database applications that support the maintenance of Transmission Management System (TMS) Oracle databases, the functions of Operations and Engineering,..
� Troubleshoot and resolve business software application issues by working with users, contractors and system vendors as required.
ITC Job Qualifications
� Bachelor�s degree, a degree in Computer and Information Systems or Engineering is preferred.
� Three years of professional software development experience
� Strong experience with relational database design, and programming in Visual Basic for Applications
� Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL development knowledge a plus
� Functional knowledge of computer operating systems (UNIX, Windows).
� Knowledge of Energy Management Systems, SCADA and/or real-time systems a plus.
� Possess sound analytical problem-solving and documentation skills.
� Strong verbal and written communication skills.
� Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
