Project Manager/Business Analyst

The Project Manager / Business Analyst serves as a project manager for the Graduate Division's Information Technology group. Under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology provide project management and business analytical support to the Information Technology Group. Responsible for various duties that involve project coordination and management, business analysis, and Web/database development. The Project Manager / Business Analyst will assist the IT Group and the Division by documenting project scope, deliverables, and decisions, monitoring progress of projects, and communicating progress and issues to project sponsors, business owners, and participants. Serve the Division by analyzing and collecting data relevant to organizational business needs, recommending business solutions, and participating in the implementation of business recommendations.
Expert knowledge of project management methodologies and processes; proven record of success implementing medium to complex information technology projects.
Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or similar and a proven track record of results in the IT industry.
Knowledge of web-based programming languages such as ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, Visual Basic, Java Script, CSS, and HTML.
Ability to test and evaluate new software to determine their strengths and weaknesses, potential usefulness, draw comparisons, write reviews, and make recommendations to staff.
Working knowledge of standard web-based applications, including search engines, web services, portals, RSS and web browsers such as Mozilla, Safari, and Explorer, and their capabilities; knowledge of common social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+.
