PRODUCTION MANAGER

Our client is a leading plumbing company which manufactures steel pipes in the Middle East, providing services locally as well as exporting.
We are now looking for a Production Manager to join their team in Riyadh
JOB OVERVIEW:
- To oversee all Production Operations and coordinate with all Department Managers to ensure that the Annual Production Plan is achieved on Schedule and within Budget
- To manage, direct and encourage the efforts of everyone to the same goal, to lead by example and set the highest standards for the Production Department
Reporting to: Plant Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement World best-practice manufacturing methods and introduce new practices and systems to improve productivity, yield and quality to ensure that pipe manufactured remain competitive in the Market
- Planning and coordinating with all other Departments to foresee and overcome difficulties before they affect the Production Plan
- Ensure that the Production Department functions as per the QMS (ISO 9001:2000) and attend Management Review Meetings
- Provide expert analysis, review and recognition of the relevant International pipe and Customer Specifications
- Attend Technical Meetings, Pre-Production Meetings, Site Visits and deal with technical enquiries and give presentations for major clients
- Produce detailed Monthly and Annual Reports for the General Manager that measure and analyze the performance of the Plant
- Preparation of the Annual Budget; including the detailed proposals and justification for Major Investment / Fixed Assets
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate in Engineering
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Excellent computer skills
· All candidates must have experience in steel pipes
- Minimum 7 years experience as a Production Manager in an ERW API Pipe Mill
· API is ideal – American Petroleum Institute – experience working for companies with this accreditation would be welcome
BENEFITS:
· Base Salary from 22 – 33k SAR per month/ $70k – 105k USD per annum depending on experience levels
· Benefits package on top of this base: Accommodation allowance, car allowance, medical cover for family, 4x flights a year for family + bonus
