The job holder is responsible for:
• All offshore geotechnical surveys under the Gulf dredging contract and future contracts. Will ensure that all surveys are conducted to the approved Scope of Work, safely and in a timely manner (to schedule) and Project Execution properly informed.
• Responsible for ensuring that all work scope activities are fulfilled to COMPANY requirements.
• Ensure that the in situ testing and soil sample data is of a high quality and sufficient for COMPANY’s design requirements.
• Ensuring that all work practices are performed safely and to best practice, in accordance with GDL HSSE management system.
• Conducting daily tool box meetings and liaising with the Contractor's Site Manager
• Planning the day-to-day field works which include geotechnical activities, simultaneous operations and HSE awareness and drills.
• Ensuring that the OIM and ER representatives are all aware of survey Emergency Response Procedure and that all agree with the intended procedures.
