Old Masters Society Assistant Coordinator

Duties
Assists with organizing, maintaining and updating all membership records for the Old Masters Society (OMS). Implements mailings and other plans to expand membership. Works with curators and OMS boards and committees to generate new ideas for activities and for increasing membership and attendance. Assists with the maintenance of the OMS general operating budget and all financial records. Arranges for acknowledgment letters; assists in program creation and planning, anticipating scheduling requirements and advising curators and OMS officers when to take necessary actions; prepares mailings including occasional drafting of correspondence for the OMS. In the absence of OMS coordinator, serves as liaison to the Board and the various committees of the OMS. When necessary, prepares and disseminates agendas and minutes at these meetings. Facilitate OMS events in the absence of coordinator. Responsible for assisting and advising the planning, coordinating and organization of the main fundraising event for the OMS. Duties include working with members of the benefit committee, coordinating outside vendors and proper acknowledgment and depositing of all incoming receipts. Updates and maintains database of museums, galleries and art contacts located domestically and abroad.
Qualifications
Must have proficiency in MS Office. Good communication, organizational, and customer service skills required. One year of relevant administrative experience is preferred.
