History
The idea behind UmmahJobs.com came when a group of professionals from various backgrounds including software developers, electrical engineers, accountants, and finance realized there must be a better way to help other Muslims find jobs in their industries. They would come across job openings in their respective companies, but the only way they knew of notifying their friends would be to send a mass-email. They brainstormed of how to improve the process, and UmmahJobs.com was born!

Now they can post vacancies in their companies quickly and easily, while gaining exposure to thousands of job seekers.

Audience
Job Posters
• We receive job postings from professionals who find out about vacancies in their companies and who want to help other Muslims get a career. As an added bonus, posters can be eligible for referral bonuses if their companies offer one.
• We also have sections dedicated to Islamic jobs, such as vacancies for Imams, Islamic childcare, or Islamic teachers.

Jobseekers
• If you’re looking for a new job, UmmahJobs.com can help you find one quickly. Most of our job postings are by Muslims for Muslims.
• To help you land the job faster, you can also use the original job poster as a reference, in case they leave their referral information.
